Wedding season is in full swing and in between the planning or our wedding, James and I will be attending quite a few weddings over the coming months. And as the ladies know, if there is a wedding there is an engagement party, bridal shower and bachelorette party.
With each new invitation I start trying to think of a unique thoughtful gift that the bride will enjoy and not already have 5 of. Last year a friend introduced me to the Mrs. Necklace by JMGJewelDesign and it is now my go-to gift for such occasions. Each necklace is custom made with the brides new, or soon-to-be new last name in a pretty script and shipping is included in the very reasonable price.
I ordered the first Mrs. Necklace as a gift for my fiancé’s sister and now after getting engaged myself, I’ve been looking at the other custom wedding designs Jessica of JMG offers in her shop on Etsy.com.
For myself I am loving the Swarovksi Pearl and Crystal Flower Mini Combs and think these would look great tucked into an up-do or pinning back a few strands in a more relaxed hairstyle. For those brides who like the idea of having custom DIY elements to your wedding, but don’t have the creative knack (myself included) Etsy is a great site to find items or someone to create custom items for you.
