Bride Blogger Update: Videography

April 16, 2013

One of the things that I love about the wedding industry is that it is ever-evolving, so I am always finding new trends and meeting new people. Last week, Milagros introduced me to Little Borrowed Dress, which I am now using in a wedding that I am in this October. This week, she shares her videography finds, all new to me, but amazingly talented vendors – happy Tuesday!

Lights. Camera. Action.

I am so excited about our wedding.  It is going to be amazing.  Mainly because I get to marry the number one guy I know.  I am kind of a huge fan of my fiancé, so I may have to refrain myself from running down the aisle to get hitched.

I will also be excited for our wedding day to finally get here because it will mean the end of wedding planning (!).

And in the planning process, we have made all sorts of decisions.  Who should marry us, where should we get married, and is it too late to go to the justice of the peace?  I kid – Kind of.

Anyways, one decision that we made was about the videographer.  With all of the fun I have had picking out pricey pretty things, a videographer is one of those things that neither one of us felt passionately about, so we are nixing that from our list and saving a few dollars in the process.

But, I literally had so much joy stalking videographers around the country, that I wanted to share a few of my favorites.

1.     Shark Pig.  They are an artist collective that is California based, but their work is just plain amazing.  Their videos make you want to go to film school to be like them.

2.     Ink Spot Crow Films.  They are a North Carolina based film crew that will travel, and do a great job capturing weddings in a fresh way.

3.     I would be remiss if I didn’t mention our Save the Date videographers – Caravan Films.  These guys trekked up from North Carolina to put together a sweet little Save the Date video that we used on our wedding website —
