Vibrant Real Wedding – Sara Jin and Jonathan Kim

November 8, 2017

The couple cried when seeing each other for the first time – priceless! Though it was a sweltering hot day at this outdoor wedding, there were moments during the ceremony where the clouds covered the sun and there was a slight breeze – it was heaven sent! Instead of a unity candle, they planted a unity plant, where their mothers brought soil from their respective homes and the bride and groom watered the plant together. Jonathan first took a liking to Sara when he saw her dancing to the Wobble and their wedding entrance song was, you guessed it – the Wobble. It was probably the hottest day of the year, but one of the most fun, with everyone on the dance floor, tons of details, and lots of love!

Favorite Details: ice cream shaped place cards that doubled as coupons for the ice cream truck that arrived after dinner!

BEST DAY EVER! For These Two!

November 1, 2017

Will proposed down in Stone Harbor on Labor Day Weekend 2015.  He was being really odd in the car ride down. Out of the blue he suggested we go for a walk on the beach before everyone got to the house.  Now, I always ask him to go for walks with me and we never do, I suspected something was “up.”  I could feel myself getting excited, thinking “oh my god this could be it!”  So we drive to the beach, walk for a while, not really talking much and then Will said “let’s head back home.”  I was totally confused! When we arrived at the family beach house and get out of the car, I walked around to the back and Will was already there, down on one knee.  I cried for a while and finally said YES! It was perfect that he proposed at the house – we have spent almost every weekend there and it’s where we had our first kiss.  Will had spoken with my Dad in advance, so when we walked inside the house and he and my family where there – he had video recorded the whole thing and had champagne ready to pop. It was so amazing to get to celebrate such an exciting moment with my family right away. 8 months laters, we tied the knot at the amazing Four Seasons Baltimore! It really was the best day ever!

Multicultural Real Wedding of Jeremy and Danya

September 27, 2017

With any Lebanese wedding, the goal is to make it as memorable as possible. Jeremy and Danya definately had a memorable and gorgous wedding! Their multi-cultural was filled with love and celebration and a timeless design, starting with Danya’s wedding gown. The night started with a true celebration with the Zaffe dance routine. The Zaffe is the dramatic entrance of the bride at the reception, and it begins with a dance routine with young men dressed in traditional clothing and the groom leading the group. How can you not stay on the dancefloor after a dance-set of cheering, clapping, music and more dancing. How fun!

Real Wedding of Brett and Matt

September 6, 2017

Brett + Matt were married on a warm mid-August day at Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington, Virginia. They began their day in DC at neighboring hotels The Willard and the JW Marriott before joining together for photos at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Their ceremony at the Clarendon Ballroom was transformed into a modern affair with tall white, pink and luscious green arrangements from Love Blooms.  Their guests snacked on fun apps such as individual Chinese carryout out boxes filled with Red Chill Chicken and Fried Mac N’ Cheese bites, while sipping on the couple’s Signature Drinks: Brett’s Sparking Bride and Matt’s Old Fashioned. Guests were then invited back into the Ballroom for a complete room flip. A mixtures of rounds and a 28 person King’s Table in the center were covered in lush arrangements (high & low) and candles galore. The night ended with tunes from Bialek Music, a late night cookie bar, and a bubble send-off to end the night.

Real Wedding of K+D

August 23, 2017

Guests and vendors couldn’t stop raving about how wonderful and kind Kristin and David were. Having met on an Christian Mingle, the couple let their love of God and family guide them throughout their relationship before ultimately David popped the question. For their wedding day, they were married in front of their closest friends and family at their Church, Capital life Church in Arlington. The bride wore a beautiful Hayley Paige gown. The private “first touch” and prayer the couple had before the ceremony was unforgettable. They really had a bond that you could see radiating throughout the day.

Post ceremony, the couple ventured into DC for quintessential monument and Capitol photos with their bridal party, before heading back to Army Navy Club for a rocking reception. Classic tones of gold, white, and blush were layered in through flowers and decor!
