Real Wedding: Washington National Cathedral

Today’s wedding of Anna Maria and Jonathan took place at the Washington National Cathedral, arguably one of the most beautiful ceremony sites in Washington.  Thank you to Cassidy Duhon for sending us the pics!

The Cathedral is just so breathtaking, so grand.  The ceremony music was by the lovely Cathedral Organist and supported by the St. Albans School chorale.

Real Wedding: Nicole and Dan

With Thanksgiving just a few days away,  I have to admit that I am already looking forward to the holidays!  Today’s wedding took place last December at the University Club and has such festive details. As always, Stephen Bobb of Love Life Images has captured each element of the event impeccably.

Real Wedding: Mark and Alexis

When I saw Alexis and Mark’s wedding details, I knew I had to share them with you!  Their wedding had so many customized touches – most found on one of our favorite sites, Etsy.

Married at Lansdowne Resort this past June, Mark and Alexis were absolutely glowing on the big day.

The paper was all created by Cami’s Paperie.  Cami designed the fabulous save the dates, invites, table numbers, place cards, menu cards, programs and the little signs at the wedding.  She even created a map for out of town guests.  Quite the suite!

And, how good looking is this wedding party?  The bridesmaids are so stylish, the groomsmen so handsome!  The beautiful bridesmaids dresses are by Jenny Yoo, one of our fav designers.

At the reception, for the little ones, Alexis made crayon favor bags by melting crayons into silicon alphabet molds. Each child had little bags set out for them at the reception that had crayons spelling their names.  So fun!

The cake topper was by Ann Wood Handmade – I think it is my favorite detail…okay, well one of my many favorites!

A Pink Wedding by Cherry Blossom Weddings & Events

Can you believe it is July already?!?  The summer is flying by!

Today, we have a picture-perfect real wedding for you sent to us by the lovely ladies at Cherry Blossom Weddings & Events.

Here’s what they had to say…

Lauren and John are such a sweet couple and their sunny day wedding complimented the happiness in the air.  They were married at St. Jane de Chantal Church in Bethesda.

A short break followed as their guests enjoyed a tea hosted by their grandmother before venturing out to the Great Room at Savage Mill in Maryland for the reception.

Guests dined on many options with everything from crab cake burgers, fajitas, salmon, pasta, sushi, and tasty desserts at various stations catered by Putting on the Ritz.

With pink floral arrangements accented by pink up-lighting, the room glowed as friends and family member danced the night away!
