Today’s wedding is such a quintessential autumn D.C. affair… 

I am loving all of the candlelight.  In my opinion, the more candlelight, the better.  Not only does it add romance, but everyone looks better in candlelight.  You can’t have too much!

Tomorrow the loveliness continues with Day 2 of Real Weddings Week!

This morning we kicked off our Real Weddings Week.  All week we’re only featuring beautiful images of recent weddings held in this area, or planned by D.C. planners.

Sometimes, although we triple-check our facts before posting them, every once in a while, we are given misinformation.  Today is one of those days.  We have a BIG correction to announce…

The Meridian House still has 75% of 2010 wedding dates available!!!  This is such an exciting correction!  Especially for anyone planning a 2010 wedding!  (P.S. – Our DW Bride Blogger, Sarah Christine, will be married at this amazing venue in October of this year!)

Libbet and Scott were married at the Meridian House last November, and, well, I’ll let you see for yourself how this venue just drips with beauty… And how Jennifer Domenick captures every shot in just the perfect way… And how Atrendy Wedding put together such an exquisite affair… I’ll stop now, just look…

Our first day of Real Weddings Week continues…

Libbet and Scott were married last November at the Meridian House.  Jennifer Domenick, one of the fabulous photographers at Love Life Images captured the day in such a beautiful way.  Pam Barefoot, of Atrendy Wedding, was the genius wedding planner behind the day.  Every event she touches turns to gold — and this one is no exception…

Today we kick off Real Weddings Week on District Weddings.  All week we’ll be posting gorgeous images of real weddings captured by D.C.’s best photographers and planned by top area wedding planners.  And, I think we have perfect weather for our first day…what better to do on this rainy day than to wrap up with a cozy blanket and cup of tea, and swoon over beautiful wedding pictures?  Ah, sounds perfect to me!

Libbet and Scott were married on November 8, 2008 at the Meridian House in Washington, DC.  If you’ve never been to the Meridian House, and you’re looking for the *perfect* venue (indoor space, outdoor space, gardens, central D.C. location, the list goes on…), definitely add the Meridian House to your list.
