Today, Bride Blogger Kimberly tells us about how she found a florist that fit her style and comfort level…
Flowers are one of those things I have never been able to live without. I go to the store, I pick up fresh flowers. When I would have a date with a new guy – bringing flowers = bonus points for trying to make a good impression. So I am surprised at my lack of enthusiasm with incorporating flowers into my wedding day.
Here’s how I answered Aimee when we discussed flowers and what I wanted, “I love flowers, but they die – quickly! I really feel like they are a waste of my budget. How few flowers can I get away with having”? Always the consummate professional, she assured me that incorporating flowers into any budget doesn’t have to be expensive. Traditionally, five to ten percent should be spent on flowers and décor for your ceremony and reception. Since that area clearly isn’t a priority, I’ll be staying towards the low end of the range for reception décor.

It is Friday (woohoo!) which means today we focus on the details – my favorite! Ashley from the Chic Line has pulled these incredible images of gowns – so heavenly….
I am loving all the different silhouettes and details of wedding dresses these days. Vera Wang and Watters and Watters are just two designers that I count on for endless offerings of beautiful, design-statement pieces. The luxurious fabrics, raw edges and ruffles of Vera’s collection allow it to stand out from the competition (as always, right?)

I love the Watters gowns because of their diversity in shape and style. From sleek and simple to full and adorned, their collection offers a variety of styles for every taste and budget.

We all know by now what fabulous taste Ashley from the Chic Line has…today, here are some inspiring invites that she has found…
Invitations are a big part of a wedding. They are one of the first correspondence a guest receives, they reflect your personal style, and they set the tone for the big day. There are so many beautiful options out there, so here are just a few that have caught my eye. I love that they are bold and unique, and not afraid to have a little fun.

Today, our guest blogger Ashley of The Chic Line shares yellow details. What a happy color!
Yellow is a bold and happy color that can be incorporated into weddings at any time of the year. Below are some photos of beautiful yellow details that just exude personality and excitement. A yellow dessert bar looks great with bold black accents, and lemons are the perfect modern centerpiece. Bold bridal accessories look even better when coordinated with the groom.

There are many options for yellow flowers in bouquets, which look so fresh when paired with an abundance of green leaves. And of course, dressing your maids in yellow is the perfect way to tie it all together.
