Cheree Berry Paper Debuts in Target, on Paperless Post

St. Louis, MO – Cheree Berry Paper (“CBP”), a St. Louis-based, award-winning stationery company serving clients nationwide, announces its first retail collection at Target and its first online collection with Paperless Post.

The Target collection includes stationery items centered around all things wedding and baby. The baby offering includes announcements and shower invitations as well as day-of accoutrements such as cocktail napkins, straws, and shower games. The wedding offering includes save the date cards, thank you notes, bridesmaid invitations, table décor, and more. Many of these items are new product offerings for Target.

“It was a natural evolution,” said Cheree Berry, Cheree Berry Paper’s Founder and CEO. “Our custom stationery clients and fans of our brand wanted other ways to access our signature style. The opportunities with Target and Paperless Post provide a way for us to reach a broader audience for more of life’s occasions.”

Cheree Berry Paper is the first St. Louis-based stationery company to be featured in Target and on Paperless Post. However, the company is no stranger to the national spotlight; Cheree Berry Paper designed the wedding stationery for Chelsea Clinton, baby announcements for Tina Fey, and has consistently created custom decorations for Christmas at the White House.

The Cheree Berry Paper for Target collection is available online and in stores nationwide; The Cheree Berry Paper for Paperless Post collection is accessible online—and is available in electronic and printed formats.

An Enchanting Event – Real Wedding of J + E

July 14, 2015

With the mountains in the background and colorful flowers in full bloom, Jenny and Eoin tied the knot. Charlottesville, Virginia, held a beautiful wedding, as a long-distance couple finally was able to be together in the same country.

Jenny and Eoin met in London and were engaged in Paris, which is why vintage postcards were set up all around their wedding day. They both studied in the UK for their Masters programs, but Jenny had to leave Europe before Eoin did. Finally, nine months later, the couple was together again, and this time for good.

The wedding details had a lot to do with the homes of both Jenny and Eoin, which are Ireland for Eoin and Virginia for Jenny. Jenny made a lot of her decor, such as the programs, menus, favor cards, etc. For their favors, they donated to two charities that were close to them: The Lost Dog and Cat Foundation and American Rivers.

It was a lovely day, filled with perfect weather and a perfect couple. Congratulations Jenny and Eoin!

Artistic Appeal – Real Wedding of J + D

July 7, 2015

The Corcoran Gallery of Art was filled with love on August 23, 2014 as Jie Shi and Dynne Sung tied the knot with family and friends standing by their side. The wedding had continuous music flowing throughout the night, performed by a harpist, an a cappella group, a quartet, and a pianist. Along with the music, the museum was so kind as to open up their downstairs galleries to the guests of the wedding.

Other features of the night included a surprise dessert bar, and as a party gift, guests were given impressionable art books published by the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Sparklers filled the air when the couple made their exit into a new life together.

The bride’s favorite parts of the night were when “the string quartet played two traditional Asian songs that we dedicated toour parents in honor of their respective cultures: Korean “Arirang” and Chinese “Jasmine.” Also, the wedding cake had four tiers of alternating flavors, banana nut and red velvet – each representative of our favorite childhood sweets.”

The groom’s favorite details were that “servers passed two specialty drinks, his “Jack Rose” and her “Fresh Start” – each representative of our own personalities and tastes. Also, we had the downstairs art galleries opened to our guests. It was a chance to see some amazing artwork at their own leisure and provided a breathtaking backdrop for pictures. The party favors were art books published by the Corcoran Gallery of Art so that guests could take the museum experience home with them.”

Georgetown Glamour – A Styled Shoot

June 18, 2015

Anyone who lives in the District knows that Georgetown is one of the most darling places to visit. Every year, beautiful weddings happen in this part of D.C., and the atmosphere sets up for a perfect wedding experience. District Weddings wants to feature a styled shoot by Nick & Erin Photography that was inspired by the beauty that Georgetown exudes.

We asked Erin from Nick & Erin Photography a few questions about this particular styled shoot:

District Weddings: What inspired you to use Georgetown for this shoot?
Erin: When dreaming up this shoot, we wanted to make photos that were inventive and fresh, but that would look amazing 50 years from now. I couldn’t think of a better place than Georgetown because of its historic nature and beauty that continues to draw residents and tourists year round. The classic red bricked courtyard and the modern interior of the Ritz Carlton in Georgetown was a great combination for our classic bride, along with the Georgetown waterfront.
DW: What was your favorite part of doing the shoot?
E: I loved watching the shoot come together with such a talented group of local vendors! Each one had incredible expertise and creative vision. We had the perfect pieces and hair and makeup design that made the end result better than I ever could have imagined. I especially loved the adorable sweetheart and dessert table designed by Heather Misner–I wanted to eat everything (and full disclosure, I taste tested a few items)!
DW: Where is the best place you have shot a wedding before?
E: We have enjoyed shooting in a variety of locations, from the classic ballroom to rustic vineyards, to tropical destinations. We love it all! Perhaps one of the most exciting places we have shot a wedding before was in Santorini, Greece! We love traveling, so this was a great opportunity for us personally as well. And this summer, we are looking forward to another new place for us in Yosemite National Park!
DW: What is the best part of a summer wedding?
E: Nick and I are definitely warm weather people, so we love summer weddings! The best part of a summer wedding is everyone seems to be more relaxed, the weather is perfect for being outdoors in the evening, and the daylight lasts longer so we have so much time for great outdoor photos!
