I found this venue by accident. A very talented photographer sent me pictures of a very beautiful wedding held at Glenview Mansion. In her email, she couldn’t say enough about how fabulous this place really is. So, I did some investigating. And, honestly, I couldn’t agree with her more. Oh, and that very beautiful wedding? Scroll down for the pictures…
According to its website, Glenview Mansion is a pillared, neo-classical, 19th century home nestled in the 153-acre Rockville City Center Park. According to the brides who get married there, and the photographers who shoot pictures there, it is one part modern, artistic, and unexpected, and one part traditional, elegant, and pristine. The inside hosts an amazing Art Gallery; the outside is estate living at its finest. What more could you want?
See for yourself. Take the virtual tour. Glenview Mansion is located just 21.5 miles from downtown D.C.
Okay. That very talented photographer I just mentioned? Kim Seidl. She travels the world to capture people and events, BUT she offers special rates for weddings in D.C. Special rates! For one heck of an amazing photographer. If you’re looking for a photographer, call her. Let me put it this way, if I hadn’t already booked a photographer for my own wedding, I’d be calling her.
Back to Glenview Mansion. Two words why you should have your wedding here: cherry blossoms! What every D.C. bride wants. We LOVE cherry blossom trees (check out the District Weddings logo). Glenview Mansion has loads of them.
Aren’t they the cutest couple? Kim Seidl is a master-mind. She really gets it when it comes to wedding photography. I’m so glad she shared her talents with us.
For hours of photo fun, check out Kim’s blog. Thanks, Kim!!
