DW Bride Blogger Update: Keeping Your Guests Busy, Part I

I’m a little under the weather today, so it feels like I’m moving ten times more slowly than usual.  I’m diligently working on our big announcement, so, in the meantime, Sarah Christine is stopping by to give us another update on her wedding planning progress.

So we’ve already gone over welcome baskets – welcoming out-of-town guests with small bites that express flavors of the city. But when it comes to securing activities to fill up their schedules, how do you incorporate seeing the beautiful city, monuments and memorials without boring them? Easy, recommend guests to the Old Town Trolley Tour Company!  A fully narrated tour by conductors, guests purchase tickets and hop on and off the trolley all day, visiting the National Mall, The National Cathedral and Arlington National Cemetery at their own pace.

Are you having a small wedding or want to treat your wedding party to something special?  Old Town Trolley offers chartered tours for groups up to 40 people.  Jon and I are thinking of hosting a “Monuments by Moonlight” tour after our rehearsal.  I always find the monuments and memorials to be more breathtaking at night.

Here’s a list of Trolley Stops on the tour…
