Sometimes at District Weddings, I will admit, I just may get caught up in everything lovely, bridal and girly and overlook the guys a tad…So, today’s post is all about those special men – groom, groomsmen, ushers and dads – standing with the bride on the big day.
A little while ago, I was told about High Cotton Ties and absolutely think that this company is a life-changer! High Cotton is creating custom, affordable, bow ties and cummerbunds, perfect for a groomsmen gift and wedding day attire. Not only are the designs super cute, the fabric is 100% cotton — read: machine washable! Genius!
So, it is without further ado that I announce an exciting contest — the search for “Mr. and Mrs. High Cotton“, where all of you engaged couples can enter for a chance to be crowned “Mr. & Mrs. High Cotton” and receive all of of your wedding attire from High Cotton Ties for free!

- Eligible participants must be engaged couples with wedding dates set between April 1st – November 30th
- Couples must submit a 500 word essay and photo
- At the beginning of March, High Cotton Ties will select finalists to compete on Facebook for a week. The couple’s posting that receives the most ‘likes’ will be crowned Mr. & Mrs. High Cotton
- Maximum prize winnings of up to $1200 retail value of High Cotton Ties products for your wedding. Prize winnings may be used on the groom, groomsmen, and ring bearers only. Example: $1,200 retail value is roughly equivalent to 10 cummerbund sets plus shipping.
- As Mr. & Mrs. High Cotton, they may request the use of certain wedding photos with your permission.
