I hope that everyone had an incredible weekend! First up, I want to remind you of the fabulous Jewelry Give Away by Suzanne Somersall Jewelry Designs. I am drawing a winner on FRIDAY – so enter ASAP!
Next, we have the lovely wedding of Aileen and Jason that took place last September at Historic Jordan Springs.
This relaxed wedding has such sweet details — the cute harvest rustic farm items like the woven baskets and apples, the adorable umbrellas (make the most of a rainy wedding day and invest in some cute rain gear!), and the vintage donut cart.
Historic Jordan Springs, the venue for both ceremony and reception, was so pretty. It also provided the couple with an on-site wedding coordinator, linens, flowers, and catering. Versatile and creative, the venue allowed Aileen and Jason to choose their own theme – in this case, rustic autumn – and helped to create their ideal wedding in any way they could… they even ventured out in the morning to pick fresh apples for the couple’s décor!
The ceremony, which was supposed to take place outdoors, was moved onto Historic Jordan Spring’s wrap-around porch, due to the rain. Despite this change of plans, the ceremony location turned out to be perfect.
The Hillbilly Gypsies, a bluegrass band, ensured that absolutely no one remained sitting. In leiu of cake, Carpe Donut was served – and there is nothing that compares to hot, fresh donuts!
