Make Your Rentals Uniquely You, with Goodshuffle

July 3, 2017

1.) A Sign of Personality

Perhaps the most obvious way to personalize a rental is to add something. Consider a sign, not only for utility, but also a pop of personality. If you always abbreviate and you’re from the South, change “bubbly bar” to “Champs, Y’all!”

2) A Few of My Favorite Things

Brainstorm a list of your favorite things, individually or as a couple. Obsessed with pineapples? Sneak them into the table arrangements! Met at a used book store? Style your gift table with antique books.

3) Think Outside the Box

When searching through your rental options, consider using items for more than their regular function. A lantern could hold a photo of the two of you. A vase could host golf balls in addition to flowers, for the couple who loves both. Barrels double as great tables.

4) A Pop of Color

Plenty of people add color using a table runner or festive flowers. Get creative! Consider a colorful dinner plate, bright paper lanterns, or a pastel sideboard or buffet.

5) Draw the Eye

You’ve spent so much time planning all the other personal details of your wedding, why not use the rentals to elevate what you already have? Use a special tray or chest of drawers to display your elegant cake. Highlight your grandparents’ wedding photos by displaying on a ladder.

6) Be Playful

Rentals don’t need to be serious business. Rent a vintage bicycle, a goofy movie prop, or even a moon bounce and show off your wild side with pride!
