When Andrew Reilly, the incredibly talented photographer, sent us this wedding, I can honestly say it took my breath away at first sight. The Airlie Center in Warrenton, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, has such a natural, stately beauty. This wedding is full of the type of details that we love here at District Weddings.
The bride, Michelle Finley, was absolutely stunning. So classic, so elegant.

We’re kicking off a fantastic week here on District Weddings! After a crazy couple of days, we’re back on track with lots to share.
First up, a Real Wedding sent to us by none other than Andrew Reilly. If you’ve checked in with us before, you’ve probably heard about our obsession with Andrew. He is a wedding photographer with an artistic edge. His photos are, well, brilliant. And, he just may be the nicest guy around.
Amir and Subha were married on May 23, 2009 at The Hay-Adams Hotel. Their ceremony was held in the John-Hay Room, with cocktails, dinner, and dancing held on the roof of the hotel overlooking the White House. Here’s the first rounds of photos… More to come in a bit!

We’re stepping away from our normal routine this week, as we are working on something very big (as we’ve been hinting all week), and it’s been a little distracting.

Today’s wedding is truly SPECTACULAR.
Talk about a dream team of vendors — Wedding Planner extraordinaire Aimee Dominick. Photographer Andrew Reilly. The Hay-Adams Hotel. Blue Sky Films. Kendall’s Cakes. A Beatles cover band. And, did I mention the bride is GORGEOUS and so, so sweet? I’m putting the finishing touches on the feature right now.
