It is always wonderful to hear from a bride who followed District Weddings as she planned her own big day! Zeina is just that bride, who married Ron this past August. Her beautiful taste paired with an all-star vendor team resulted in a gorgeous celebration! Happy Monday!
Nicole and Jon’s mutual love of the outdoors certainly came into play during their rustic September wedding at White Hall Manor. Between the natural beauty of the venue and the simple, elegant florals, we’re head over heels! Thanks to the ladies of A. Dominick Events for sending over this beauty to start our Monday off right!
Oh hello December! How did you arrive so soon? My goodness, it is here and the holiday season is as busy as ever. I kicked off the month this past weekend by working a series of lovely events! How about you all?
Today, I am here with the fun 6th and I Synagogue and Longview Gallery wedding of Rachel and Simon from A. Dominick Events.
For the ceremony, the bride’s sister made Rachel and Simon’s chuppah from materials collected from their family and friends. It represented the love and support offered for their marriage. It was designed in the shape of two intertwining trees, much like Rachel and Simon’s ketubah – each branch representing a different part of their family and friends coming together in love.
To pay homage to Simon’s English roots, the men dressed in morning suits for the wedding. Then, two of the bride’s cousins sang during the ceremony, and surprised the bride’s brother and sister-in-law as they walked down the aisle by singing the same song they had walked down the aisle to in their wedding.
For this international couple, Rachel and Simon had a large custom map printed and framed that allowed guests to tack the places where they had traveled from to attend the wedding. The escort cards were hung from the ceiling and designed to look like luggage tags and every table had a large luggage tag with different airport city code as the table names. Then, the menu cards were designed in keeping with the theme, to look like airmail.

After many years of dating and sharing their lives together, Francine and Barry finally decided to officially tie the knot this past October. They chose a fall date for this intimate celebration centered around friends, family, and food at the Hay-Adams Hotel. Family was very important to this couple; the bride’s nieces served as junior bridesmaids and the groom’s niece sung in the ceremony. The entire affair was full of lovely details - I hope that you enjoy taking in the images as much as I have!
