I don’t know how else to say it except that I am obsessed with today’s real wedding. It reminds me of the most perfect spring day – which I happen to be longing for at the moment! Thank you to Windows Catering Company for sending it over to me – I am just ooo-ing and ahh-ing over the natural garden elegance!
Last May, A. Dominick Events worked with Sarah and Ian to plan their eco-chic, classic with a twist of modern, incredibly lovely wedding. I am beyond obsessed with their big day!!
The couple considered every detail - from how to make environmentally conscious paper decisions to giving local farmer’s market filled welcome gifts to the pulling the perfect place setting – this wedding was full of charm and personality!
Earlier this year, bride blogger Catherine was darling enough to share her wedding planning journey as she plotted and designed her big day!
Well, today, I have the pleasure of sharing her beautiful, emotion-filled wedding pictures by the talented Jay Premack…so happy!
Today’s Real Wedding is so picture perfect. Alicia, the bride, was glowing and the celebration was beyond lovely – pure sophistication with pops of whimsy.
The bride tell us, “Many people think of DC for its historical significance, but we really wanted to represent a more modern feel. There was something really cool about getting married on the rooftop of the Newseumwith the dome of the Capitol in the background – a blend of old and new. We worked with the best in town on our wedding and it made all the difference – they helped make it unique and memorable for us, our families, and all of our guests!”
Jay Premack, one of my absolute favorite photographers (and people) in Washington, photographed Alex and Taylor’s wedding this past September at Woodend Sanctuary. Jay is such a talented photographer (a District Favorite!) and there is not a single image here that was posed in any way. Every moment is natural and real, truly capturing the big day.
Aimee Dominick, planner extraordinaire and owner of A. Dominick Events, pulled together this gorgeous fête.
The picture perfect couple is not only one of the most handsome I have seen, but also are two of the kindest and thoughtful individuals of all time. They truly deserve each other.
