November has certainly come in with some chilly weather but this wedding at Tregaron Mansion will warm you right up!
The bride tells us, “Our goal was to make our wedding and reception as personal, warm, hospitable, and fun as possible. Derek and I have such wonderful friends and family, and we wanted it to be a really special and memorable party for them (and us, of course!)”
The stunning bride tells us,
“One of my favorite moments from the wedding was walking through Chinatown with my bridesmaids, junior bridesmaids, and flower girl from the Hotel Monaco in DC, where we got ready, to the church. Since Chinatown is a pretty busy area, we had tons of people honking, waving, cheering, and getting me pumped up just minutes before I walked down the aisle. It was so exciting! I’ll never forget that.”
For the cocktail hour, the bride and groom hired Gordon Kent, one of their favorite local musicians (from Banana Cafe in Eastern Market) perform, and they had 3Citron create a Korean BBQ Hors d’œuvre as a nod to the bride’s Korean roots
I love that each menu card had a cross word puzzle on the back with a personalized pencil at each place setting. This was a great ice-breakers for guests while they waited to be invited to the buffet. So fun!

What a tribute to such a lovely wedding. I love the pink and green

Thanks so much for featuring one of our weddings! It was a beautiful day with a beautiful and fun-loving couple!
