Tudor Place Wedding

September 23, 2013

Laura and Joe found classic inspiration in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and used it to influence their elegant D.C. wedding at Tudor Place.

The venue was designed by architect Dr. William Thornton, who also designed the United States Capitol Building – how D.C. is that!  After the ceremony, the fun continued with a scavenger hunt set up by the bride for the couple’s family to get to know their city. Guests travelled by limo, hoping to find things like the site of a movie, a statue of a Civil War leader and a picture with the president.  The evening ended with dinner and a Tiffany’s Box cake at Old Ebbitt Grill Washington’s oldest saloon.
