On October 1, 2009 the DC Green Wedding Consortium began accepting entries for the 2010 $50,000 Earth Day Wedding giveaway. DC area engaged couples can submit entries here until October 20, 2009. On December 9, 2009 the DCGWC will announce the winner. The wedding will take place on April 22, 2010, the 40th anniversary celebration of Earth Day.
