Veils of Great Lengths

Like most young girls, I loved playing dress up when I was a child.  My favorite item of dress up was my mother’s chapel length veil (with blusher!).  As soon as I had that bad boy on my head, the magic set in.  I would recreate my Mom’s bridal portraits, practice walking down the aisle/driveway, and waltz around the house in euphoric glee.

Not surprisingly, the veil had the same effect a few weeks ago when I tried on veils at the bridal shop.  I think most bride’s remember & cherish the first time they tried on a veil with their wedding dress.  Looking into the mirror, the butterflies race through your stomach and in that surreal moment, it hits you that you’re a bride!  There is something magical about a veil that transforms a beautiful girl in a white dress into a stunning bride.

Look at these beautiful veils…
