It’s our favorite time of year! The Washingtonian Bride & Groom Unveiled show is finally here! On Sunday, January 27th at the Ritz Carlton DC, the best vendors in the District will come together to show brides what they’ve got- and you won’t want to miss it.

We were lucky enough to chat with Eleni Savopoulous, the lead event manager on Unveiled, who is working with the Director of Marketing & Events Rebecca Schwartz and Events Manager Katharine Ragsdale to pull together a fabulous event for brides and vendors alike! After the jump Eleni shares her favorite moments from last year- and why this year will be even bigger and better:

What were your favorite moments of last year’s event?
There are two great aspects to this event. The first being that love is in the air- the people who attend this event (engaged couples and families) are so happy, really excited to attend this event, and thrilled to start their wedding planning process. We know that washingtonian bride & groom is the #1 DC wedding resource for brides in this area. The second is all of the incredible local vendors who exhibit at this event and showcase their talents. The event would not be possible without the incredible vendors and partners that exhibit.
What are you most excited about this year?
This year’s theme is seasons of love, so we will transform the lower level of the Ritz Carlton to the four wedding seasons- winter, spring, summer, and fall. We are excited to see how our partners Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Edge, and Digital Lighting transform the space. As well as the fabulous NY fashion show presented by Carine’s Bridal Atelier- featuring the latest gowns from  Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera, Angel Sanchez, and Marchesa.
Eleni’s advice for brides planning to attend the event? 

If you are engaged and kicking off the wedding planning process, this is the event for you. We will have dozens of Washington, DC’s and Washingtonian’s Bride & Groom magazine’s recommended vendors exhibiting including, florists, planners, designers, hairstylists, cake bakers, and more—plus a runway show presented by Carine’s Bridal Atelier. On display will be the very latest gowns and styles from Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera, Angel Sanchez, and Marchesa, just to name a few.     I think everyone in Washington is dying to see this! I am very excited as well, to witness this very lovely and beautiful event in which this would give great ideas among us. As an event organizer for weddings, I always love to look forward to this kind of event, especially to this one. This was really exciting! ;)
