We are completely clueless when it comes to this part. We are getting married in September (Labor Day Weekend to be exact) at Ft Myer's Old Chapel (the one that sits next to Arlington Cemetery). Since we are having such a small wedding party (my sister and his brother) we were wondering if we should even have a rehearsal dinner. Any suggestions?

We plan on having our rehearsal dinner at Tabard Inn next to our ceremony location, St. Matthew's Cathedral. I plan on wearing my mom's beautiful 1976 wedding dress which I am having made into a mini dress. It is ivory with lace cap sleeves and an empire waist. Since my mom is so petite, I'm having it altered into a cocktail dress, mini length!I think it will fit in perfectly with the Tabard Inn's atmosphere.

My wedding is in St. Michaels, MD at a bed and breakfast on the water. Since Maryland is known for crabs I figured what better place is there other than a crab house. So we are having our rehearsal dinner on the crab house's deck right on the water in the center of town in St. Michaels. As for the rehearsal dinner outfit, I'm not sure yet, but I plan to have a tan and wear a summery dress:)

Because I am basically having a destination wedding I am planning to have a traditional small rehearsal dinner and then afterwards have a casual wedding eve party for all the guests. Should I wear the same outfit or wear something different to each event?

I got married last November and wore a cream & gold brocade dress to our rehearsal dinner (held at a country club). I figured I was the bride so I really wanted to stand out and shine. I recommend wearing something that makes you feel gorgeous and clearly designates you as the bride-to-be. And definitely splurge!

I'm getting married this summer near the beach. Instead of a traditional rehearsal dinner, we are hosting a poolside barbeque. I would love to find something fabulous and casual! Any ideas?

I wish I had the help of Devon and District Weddings when I was getting married a couple years ago! So I don't have any rehearsal dinner fashion advice (other than be comfortable!) but I will offer up one thought - spend as much time as possible talking to your out of town guests and family members at your rehearsal, it will leave you more time at the reception to enjoy yourself and get your groove on!
